Irving, Texas Officially Cancels Their ICLEI / Agenda 21 Membership
on March 16, 2012 at 6:46 pm
Tommy Gonzalez, the Irving City Manager, and Mayor Beth Van Duyne have officially announced that Irving, Texas is no longer a member of ICLEI. Irving’s membership with ICLEI ended February 2012 and they decided not to renew their membership.
Agenda 21 is becoming a hot issue in Texas because of it’s connection to the United Nations, so I applaud Irving, Texas for having the wisdom to join the growing number of cities rejecting this insidious program.

Thank you City Manager Gonzalez and Mayor Van Duyne…for not renewing membership to the ICLEI. However, I have a concern…the ICLEI no longer exists under that name but is now called Local Governments for Sustainability which includes additonal groups: American Planning Council, the Renaissance Planning Group, International City/County Management Group aided by U.S. Mayors Conference, National Governors Assoc, National League of Cities, National Assoc of County Administrators and many others,
but nevertheless , all for the purpose of imposing UN Agenda 21
I’m hopeful you are aware of that, and sincerely hope you are not offended by me passing on this information.
